Phone with Sprint logo work on Qwest wireless?

I just got a Moto Q, and it has the sprint logo on it, could I take it to qwest and they can activate it? (I already have a phone account with qwest)

1. Hmmm. . . Last time I heard, verizon was taking over quest wireless. Maybe not though. To answer your question.... I doubt if it would work. CDMA phones normally only work with the company they are made for.
2. okay well it would have worked before 7.28.08 but now now! sprint phones would have worked on qwest since prior to that qwest was actually a mobile virtual network operator (mvno) that operated on sprint networks. but not any more.. ! qwest abandoned its mvno and ended contract with sprint. they now act merely as a verizon reseller. so sprint phone will not work on qwest any longer!
