are wireless phones network better than mobile phone's?

i live in an area where mobile network is pretty bad...its very fluctuating... i am planning to buy a wireless phone(tata indicom)...i want to know whether it ll function better ..will i face similar problem?

1. Yes mobile phone networks are better than wireless phones. If you are not getting network in mobile phone you use, you should check other networks like Idea, Vodafone etc. If still the problem persists, it depends on the area you live (for e.g. surrounded by hills, tall buildings, less bts). Then you can try out TATA Indicom or anything else. But mobile phone's network are more better than wireless phones. Wireless phones have less range than mobiles.
2. First check with TATA indicom mobile user. if their clarity of tata indicom mobile is poor then wireless phone quality will also poor because this signal also handled by the same tower. If you find difficulty in one network then try with other cell phone network. or find out which tower is closer to your area then purchase that company mobile. (before going to that you give complaint to customer care)
