Is it possible to take a sprint LG rumor and unlock then use it with us cellular.?

Wanna get a rumor from craigs list but all are from sprint. please help.

1. yes u can unlock any phoen with a SIM card, however make sure it works on the same network if not its pointless been there and done that
2. You'll need the Rumor unlocked first, and then it should be able to work on US Cellular since it is a CDMA network too.
3. u can not use a CDMA phone with GSM service
