Does anyone know if there's a way to send MP3 ringtones to a Telus LG 245 cellular phone?

I want to create some MP3 ringtones and send them to my LG 245 cellular phone, and I was wondering if they can take MP3 ringtones? If so, how can I send it to my phone? Can I e- mail it to myself and download the attachment?
