How do I send a picture from my LG cell phone to my laptop?

I receive pix from my kids now and then on the cell phone and would like to put them in my toshiba laptop and even print some. How do I do it?

1. First, you need the right software. BitPim is, by far, the best. You can download it for free from http://www.bitpim.org Next, you need to connect to your PC. If both your phone and computer have bluetooth, you can connect wirelessly. Otherwise, you'll need a USB data cable, which can either be purchased from your service provider, phone's manufacturer, or online(ebay is good for those). Most likely it will work once you've installed BitPim and connected. But, depending on the phone, it is possible you will need to find drivers for it. If you look through http://howardforums.com you should be able to find answers for any questions you still have, and also specific information for your model of phone and other cool things you can do once you are connected.
2. You first need to save the picture to your phone, or you can forward the text message from the phone to what ever email address you access with the laptop. If you save the picture to the phone, create a new text message and attache the picture to the message and send to yoru email address. Or Just forward the origional text message that contains the picture to your email address. If you are not sure how to text message, read the manual that came with the phone.
