LG Wireless Phone

Whats 3G and GPS on a phone? What would happen if your phone didn't have it?

Also, what your opinion on the new LG 500 Cookie? :) Thanks! x

  1. 3G is when you can make/receive video calls on your phone I think and is high-speed internet. Not sure on GPS sorry. Someone I know has an LG Cookie, it seems good but I think its not the best touch screen phone on the market (Samsung Tocco F480) seems good.
  2. 3g is a type of internet and it's faster than other phones. A gps is global positioning system, which locates where you are at any given time.
  3. from what ive been told 3G is the internet network the phone uses. I do know that GPS is like a lacation device. all phones come with them now so if you dial 911 they can find you
  4. 3G just makes things faster and GPS is a navigation system [Pro-Sarcasmâ„¢]
  5. Hi, I have the LG Cookie and it's a really good phone, great touchscreen, cool features including motion sensitive games, drawing tool, FM Radio and lots more. Only bad points, no flash on the camera (not too bad) and its not a very good quality camera (not too bad either unless you're a keen photographer). GPS stands for Global Positioning System and can determin your current location and time. For more info, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_Positioning_System 3G is hard to explain, I know what I want to say right now but I cant think of how to say it, if you know what I mean. I hate it when that happens ! This is a basic description, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3G Although, don't always believe everything on Wikipedia because it can be edited by anyone and could be a load of, bull.....hum, rubbish.
