Maps for LG Renoir GPS?

I have an LG renoir on 3mobile network. The phone has GPS but does not seem to be compatible with Google maps, although the location finder is present. Can anyone suggest a suitable mapping system for my phone and explain how to install it. Thanks!

Unfortunately this is less an answer than a warning, I had a Renoir for 3 months and as well as all the other prolems I had with it I couldn't for the life of me get the gps to work...I checked every online source, asked for help from 3, direct from lg, went into local phone servicing centres and no one could even figure out what it was doing let alone fix it...like u said, it just acts as if there is no gps recieved there! I just got rid of mine as I think I got a dodgy one(gps was the least of my worries lol) but it is a lovely phone and I wish you the best of luck in getting it going!!!
