does charging your cell phone every night make the battery die out faster?

and.. do any of you know how long a sprint LG rumor phone can go without chargingg its battery? thanks!

1. Well i hear that the battery can develop a memory thing where it stops recharging to its fullest capacity over time, not sure if modern technology has countered that already. Hope it helps!
2. yes it can if you leave the phone on while it charges. But if you turn off the phone while it charges itll be fine. Leaving it on while charging causes the battery to die over time
3. I was told that my phone (LG Dare) has a general number of charges and when it gets around that number, the battery starts to die out.
