is it safe to buy a cell phone on Ebay ?

1. It's a 50/50 chance. Sometimes they can just be sellers for verizon. But on the other hand. They can sell it to you, and yes have a new 2 year contract, but in order to sell it they have to make sure that you are indeed a 2 contract, thing. Basically its for new users, not people or can upgrade. If thats the case they would first before they ship it is to get all your info, which is bad at first. Second they would have to setup an account under there name. You can sign up an account for your friend. They would have to sign up for new service. THen they could mess with your account, And you couldnt remove them because its their account. Sorry to say dont do this, thinkg about it how is this person making money for a phone of 99cents. when this phone is like i think 70 dollars at verizon online and stores. and plus if they did they would have to have money up front to start eveything. Not a good idea at all dont do it be honest and pay the full price at the store,
