Cell Phone Payment?

I want my first cell phone, but I dont know the payments. I want to get the NEWER LG Chocolate from Verizon Wireless. There are two kinds of Chocolates, and I want the new one. On VerizonWireless.com, it is listed as $99.99. I would join my parents plan. There phones have texting, but it cost money. I would want mine to be unlimited, and theres wouldnt be. With activation fees, and texting how much would the entire thing cost? Thanks.
