Cell Phone Provider Question?
Hi guys, Lately i've been looking for a cell phone provider. I'd like a qwerty, music phone with unlimited texting. My family is currently using Pay-As-You go phones. We spend about $50 a month on those phones. I was looking at Sprint phones and i saw the Rumor by LG and i thought that'd be perfect. I could get the $49.99 plan with 450 anytime minuets, unlimited texting, unlimited mobile to mobile and unlimited nights and weekends. Then i saw add a line for $10 and i thought that'd be perfect only $10 more a month and i get a mp3 player out of the deal (mine just broke). so overall the total with the phone and the plan would be $99.99. Then after the 1st payment i'd add a line and it'd be $59.99 a month. So i was wondering if there was a better deal i could get form Verizon or Alltel. (remember i still want a qwerty music phone and unlimited texting.) Thanks in Advance

- Sprint service SUCKS. It is THE worst. verizon can get pricey because i'm on a family plan with them but they have the BEST PHONES!
- Go to a verizon store, At&T store, Nextel etc and see what they offer before you make a decision
- i have sprint go with them they are a good deal for thr price
- Alltel is now part of the VeriCorp market. The VeriCorp market is the largest communication network in the nation. This consists of all the Verizon companies like Verizon Wireless, Verizon Communications (landline, dsl, etc), and now Alltel (since Verizon Wireless just purchased them). Sprint for one, is slightly less expensive than Verizon Wireless. With Verizon Wireless, it would be 59.99 a month for 450 anytime minutes, Unlimited Nights and Weekends, Unlimited Messaging to anyone, any network in the USA, and Unlimited IN Calling (Mobile 2 Mobile). If you wanted to add another line, you would have to pay an extra 10.00 for the additional line, and 20.00 (not per line either, just a flat 20.00 on your overall price) for the messaging (and everyone gets it). Verizon, unlike any other carrier, gives you additional minutes, basically free if you add a family plan line. Meaning, if you had one line, and added another you would pay 69.99 (not including messaging) and you get 700 minutes, plus the IN Calling, Nights Weekends, etc. View their family plans that include unlimited messaging: http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/store/controller?item=familyShare&action=viewFSPlanList&sortOption=priceSort&typeId=2&subTypeId=22&catId=323 Remember, you will pay a little bit more for Verizon Wireless, but not much. They will provide you with the nation's largest coverage area and the fewest dropped calls.
