Which cell phone and plan should I choose?

There are 3 phones I have been looking at which one should I get? (At&t) 1. Samsung Propel (FREE) 2. LG Vu (29.99-49.99) 3. Pantech Slate (FREE) Now texting... I have some of friends with phones ones that I would text (15) How many would I want a month?
