can i use a sprint phone with my att plan?

my neighbor has a palm 650 for me but hes sprint and im att. can att activate the sprint phone to work with att?

1. Yes, just stick your AT&T SIM card into the Sprint phone.
2. No, you cannot. First off, Sprint runs on CDMA network. AT&T runs on GSM. Secondly, the newer phones on Sprint do not have sim cards. It is not compatible. It would not work.
3. Angel K is correct. Sprint and AT&T use different network types. cdma vs gsm
4. If you tried to put your AT&T SIM card you would find there was no slot. The Sprint network for the most part does not use SIM cards and, as such, can not be unlocked for use on AT&T. Sorry!
