Can someone please help me with this att cell phone plan question? please?

Ok my son got a razr about year ago. we are currently 1 year through our 2 year contract. My son wants a new phone for christmas. so i am wondering if i can renew my contract and get him the new phone for a lot cheaper then without 2 year contract please help.

1. no it has to be 2 years before you get the 2 year price
2. no, you have to fulfill your 2 year contract before you can upgrade through AT&T. So you have 1 more year to go. You could go to the store, & although you won't get the 2 year price, the salesman will probably give you a break on the price. Honestly, it would be better to wait until your contract is up!!!
3. you could get the phone, try i did and i have gotten it for a little cheaper you have to talk but you wont get the 2 yr price try craigs list
