- The only phone from Verizon that has a SIM card is the Blackberry Storm. So unless it is that phone then I would have to say no. Verizon runs on a CDMA network and AT&T gains access through a GSM network which comes from the card...coincidentally where most phones save the contacts. The would need to be entered manually.
- Verizon doesnt take sim cards so nope you cant just pop the card in and swap. You will have to enter each one into the phone manually. Please check your plans carefully. I ended up spending more because I had to bump up to a higher plan so I didnt go over minutes. Without ATT's Rollover I was screwed, I went back to ATT. I spend about $25 less a month.
- If your a Verizon customer go to a corporate store ask if they can do the switch for you. some of them have computer to do just that.
- Unfortunately, it is not possible. Verizon Wireless does not use Sim Cards.
- You cannot. Because Verizon doesn't use Sim cards, they are what you call CDMA phones. The only phone for Verizon that uses a Sim Card is the blackberry storm. Basically, I would say Verizon and AT&T are pretty much similar price wise. All the phone companies are expensive, so really, it doesn't matter to me. Hope I helped :]
- verizon wireless and att are both simililarly priced. The reason I would choose att is because you pay the same price with verizon, but you get rollover with att. My friend told me that on verizon family plans, you have to have 1400 minutes before you can get friends and family package. So your paying for unlimited calling and 1400 minutes (which is like 89.99/month. plus the extra $10 for unlimited calling) So if you have unlimited calling, your just going to see your minutes get thrown away each month Att also offers att unity which means that you can subscribe to a lower minute package and be able to call any att landline, business line, and wireless phone without using minutes. Plus you get roll over too. But thats if you have house phone or internet service with att. The price for att unity and regular packages are the same price. I recommend it if you call a lot of landline numbers.
- No. Only the Blackberry Storm uses a SIM card
- im not a Verizon Customer but i would ask
- Nope, They are two different incompatible technologies. Verizon doesn't use Sim cards so there is no where to insert it. BUT Verizon does have the Backup Assistant, You log on to your Veizon account and enter all your contacts there which would be a lot easier then entering them on a phone. Download the Assistant Program onto the phone and then sync. It'll pull all the contacts down onto the phone.
- I just found out today as well verizon doesn't use sim cards. spoils my plans.
