can i activate a unactivated att go phone sim card for a att phone plan number?

i bought a pantech slate off the att website i purchased it out of the gophone catagorie but it came with an unactivated att sim card... i had planned on using my current sim card which is on a att phone plan but i broke it trying to get it out of my old phone... is it possible to get the sim card that came with the go phone activated for my phone plan number.?

1. yes you can just call att and tell them you broke your sim card trying to get it out of your phone and they'll call your local att store and have them get you another sim card with your plan and number on it.
