1. alltell is verizon now so i would have to say verizon
2. As far as network quality, it depends where you live. NO company is the best EVERYWHERE. Overall, it's Verizon, and from what I've heard, Alltel runs a pretty good network. Best is to ask LOCALLY. Sprint has a well-earned reputation for lousy customer service. Since their latest CEO thinks he can solve that problem by offering new pricing problems, it's not likely that it's getting any better.

4. I would say Verizon, followed by Sprint, then T-Mobile. AT&T has a really bad rep as far as service goes.
5. i had both att and sprint, personally i like att
