Can i put my sim card from my old phone into one of those prepaid att pay as you go phones?

my current att phone is pretty much broken but my upgrade isnt until december..could i buy one of those pay as you go phones that you could find at like walmart or something and put my sim card in it?

1. Yes--I did and it works just fine.
2. Absolutely- as long as it's the same carrier's SIM card, which it is in your case. Or you could buy an unlocked phone, which are much better mobiles, but much more expensive.
