Cordless Skype phone over Wifi?

I'm looking a buying a cordless skype phone, I'd like to be able to use it without my PC actually being turned on, and it needs to have speakerphone built into it. Only problem is that my router is downstairs and my PC is upstairs. Is there any Skype phone out there that can connect to my network in the same way as a computer, and offer the things mentioned above?

4. And how do you exactly expect to manage that then? Skype is a program on your computer that relies on a live broadband connection to be used. You need your computer to be on in order to be able to access it and the internet.
