can't hear anything on my verizon lg dare phone. when someone calls me or i call someone i cant hear anything?

i cant hear anything on my phone. i have the lg dare from verizon. i can only talk on it if i put the headphones on with the microphone but when i take them off i cant hear anything neither my music. how can i fix it without taking it to the verizon store?

1. It sounds like the speaker might be out. If you didn't drop it in water or damage it somehow, the manufacturers warranty might still cover it.
2. The speaker is blown happended to me too you have to take it back and get it fixed
3. That happen to me too. I had water in the earpiece so I used my blow-dryer to dry it up and it worked
