Question about wifi on an unlocked cell phone?

I'm planning to buy the Nokia E51, which is an unlocked cell phone. It has wifi, so can I go on the internet through wifi for free? If I access the internet through wifi for free, can I go on www.meebo.com and IM through that website so I don't have to pay $0.20 per message?

1. if you are going through wi-fi it will be free, but just be carefull when there are no Wi-fi spots around...
2. I dropped my Nokia E51 and it busted into about 6 peices. Sucks!
