How do I use the internet on my Blackberry 8900 using WiFi?

I just got the Blackberry 8900 on T-Mobile and I don't have the Data Plan just the Unlimited Messaging plan. Now, Can I use the internet on my phone using WiFi and NOT using T-Mobile's EDGE? I'm already connected to my Wireless Home Server on my phone but IM clients won't let me log on or use the browser for internet. Help?

2. i just got this phone too. it took a while for me to figure it out too. but its really easy: once youre connected, click the menu key and go to "Manage Connections" scroll to "Set up wi-fi network" click next then go to wifi hotspot login once youre in, click the menu key and click "go-to" type in your website, and wah-lah; youre on the internet.
