How do u switch from blackberry phone connection to wifi connection>?

I want to know cause i have a blackberry with wifi and wanted to know if it switches by itself or do u have to do it maually

1. if you have it on auto it will connect by it self... and the way you can tell is it will say at the top exp... att-wireless. to test it out go to manage connections and turn off the phone signal and turn on wifi
