Do you OWN an LG SHINE cell phone through AT&T Wireless? If NO – this question will be a waste of your time, unless your simply hungry for 2 quick points. If YES – have you ever looked "really close" at your itemized bill for line items your paying for, but don't use intentionally...specifically WAP.CINGULAR charges? My LG Shine connects to the internet when the track ball on the front is held in for less than a second. Needless to say, when it's in the holder on my belt, it will connect to the internet by itself. Last month I was charged almost $3.00 for nothing. The "less that 1-second button internet activation flaw" was a specification in the phone design to LG from AT&T! This is almost $40.00 a year they are extorting from people who have no clue what's happening if their not paying attention. Rather that add a feature to let the user dictate how long the button "needs" to be held in to actually connect, AT&T set it up for under a second hold time. Every time the button is pressed accidentally, YOUR PAYING FOR IT! Have a look at you bill. If you see "wap.cingular" on your bill (or connected to JAVA on your phone display) and you don't actually surf from your phone, it's costing you money. POLL: Am I the only one tired of getting ripped off? YES or NO?
