LG Wireless Phone

I am a Verizon Wireless customer. My cell phone is an LG VX8600. Would it be compatible with Nextel?

I would like to give my phone to my daughter who is a Nextel customer.

1. Sorry Verizon and Nextel operate on two different Network. Nextel operates on GSM network which requires sim cards on all their phones. Verizon uses CDMA network which does not use sim card at all on any of their phones. Both are incompatible and you will not be able to switch phones from one carrier to another.
