I have an LG Cherry Chocolate cell phone from Verizon Wireless?
I am not able to download the game Zuma from my handset although when I look up the games that are available for this phone Zuma is listed but Verizon does not let you download games off the webpage. Can someone tell me if there is a website where you can download games that has Zuma to download to my phone? Thanks

- I have the GSM version of the CHocolate, so this might not work, but its worth a try. Go to C:/Program Files/LGGSM/LG Content Bank/ Find the file config.ini file (you may want to save a backup of this file) 2. Find the line in the PROG_SETTING section that reads "EXIST_JAVA=N" and change it to "EXIST_JAVA=Y" (without the quotation marks, but still uppercase). 3. Find the line that reads "MODEL_NAME=XXXX" (where XXXX is something, on my system it was L3100, yours may be different), and change it to "MODEL_NAME=VX8500" (again without the quotes) or =whatever is the model number of your LG phone (though note my warning above that I don't know how well this works for other phones). I'm pretty sure the Verizon ones are VX8500, but check your phone 4. Now "File Save as" the edited file, remembering to change "Text Documents (*.txt)" in the "Save as type" line of the "Save as" box to "All Files" before you hit Save. (Or else it'll save it as "config.ini.txt" which will stop it from working). 5. Now make a new folder in the Contents folder of the LG content bank. Name the new folder Java. Now download a Java game(you MUST have both the .jar and the .jad file) If you don't have the jad file, the google JADmaker. <><><><><>How To Add Java Games To The LGChocolate<><><><><> Please Note that you must have all the LG software: LG content Bank, LG Internet Cube, LG PC Sync and the LG Modem installed 1) Get both the .jar file and the .jad file and put them into the Java file *If there is no .jad file, use JADmaker 2) Add the .txt (text file) extension to the end of the .jad file 3) Add the following code to the end of the the .jad file's: MIDletX-LG-Contents: KG800 *For example,if this is the .jad files code: Manifest-Version: 1.0 Ant-Version: Apache Ant 1.6.2 Created-By: 1.4.2_07-b05 (Sun Microsystems Inc.) MIDlet-1: Solitaire, , Solitaire MIDlet-Vendor: Lars Rose MIDlet-Version: 2.0 MIDlet-Name: Solitaire MicroEdition-Configuration: CLDC-1.0 MicroEdition-Profile: MIDP-1.0 MIDlet-Jar-Size: 11323 MIDlet-Jar-URL: Solitaire.jar Nokia-MIDlet-Category: Game MIDletX-LG-Contents: TG800 Notice how I've added the code from step 3 into it Step 3 applies to the TG800, released in Canada by Rogers Wireless and Fido. If you are not using this, read the note below >>>If you are using other versions of the LG CHocolate, read step #1 on the botton before proceeding to step 4 4) Go to File->Save As 5) Delete the text document extension (the .txt) off the .jad file 6) Under file name, there is an area called Save As Type. Change it from Text Document to All Files 8) Save the file. You now have a modified .jad file 9) Delete the .jad.txt file. You only need the new .jad file you've created 10) Go to the CHocolate's phone menu->Settings(9)->COnnectivity(6)->Modem(2) and activate the modem 11) Once activated, go back to the menu, but don't slide the phone close 12) Connect the USB cable to your Chocolate and don't expect the USB screen to come up 13) Go to the LG Content Bank and go to the JAVA section, click connect and click download #1 - If you are using another version of the CHocolate, specifically: > Released Worldwide, The GSM LG CHocolate KG800, derived from the orignal CYON Chocolate, looks exactly like the CYON Chocolate and TG800 > Released exclusivly in North America, The VX8500 has a metal circle quite like the iPod instead of a silver rectangle If you are using either the above 2 versions, simple change the end of the code from TG800 to either KG800 or VX8500 depending on your model
