How do I unlock an AT&T LG cell phone to accept T-Mobile?

I have an LG L1150 AT&T Wireless cell phone, I want to unlock it to accept T-Mobile. What is the "restriction code"?! Anyone, please help.

1. if you go to an at&t store they will put in a req to corporate to get you the unlock code... most times they approve it... (i used to work at att/cingular) it takes about a week, but they will get you the code...
2. well, i'm pretty sure you can't. but not positive...
3. Call ATT customer service, tell them you want to go overseas to Europe and want to bring your LG cellphone. Then they will be able to give you an unlock code. Call from a different phone than your cell phone, this way you can give the customer service representative your IMEI number and other information they may need.
