when verizon says the phone has wifi....do you have to for wifi? or is it just free like my computer has wifi?

1. Its free to use, unless you have to pay to use the hotspot, such as some hotels and coffee stores.
2. Wifi is indeed free to use. You can use wifi right from your router at home.That is what I do.
