Question about LG phones and Boost Mobile?

Has anyone tried to put a Boost Mobile sim card into an LG phone? I want to get Boost Mobile Unlimited, but i HATE their phones. I want to get either an LG Lotus, LG Rumor, or Samsung Gravity... will a boost unlimited sim card work in those unlocked phones? Or can I put it in my old Motorola w490? Don't tell me no if you don't actually know, please.

1. Here's my brutally honest and simple answer to you about Boost Mobile , the walkie talkie one that uses a sim , otherwise known as iden technology. It sucks forget about it . (Dropped calls, no calls going through, sloooow texting). And it is NOT compatible with other sim card phones like the ones from Att, Tmobile (known as Gsm technology ) and the non sim phones you mention like the Rumor and others (cdma technology). Iden, Gsm, cdma. Sounds like technobabble. We'll get to the why in a sec.. Here's my brutally complex answer to you about Boost Mobile. Did you know there are TWO Boost mobile unlimiteds. Including a GOOD reliable one, that uses 3G technology and can take the LGs and even other COOL phones like the HTC Touch Diamond, even the Samsung Instinct and just about ANY non sim card phone as long as it is a SPRINT version of the phone? Wanna know how to have both Unlimited Boost service with talk/text/web for $50 AND a truly cool phone. Hold on. This other Boost is called Cdma technology (remember that?). It is the exact SAME technology and network that Sprint runs on. Sprint you see owns and runs BOTH versions of Boost Unlimited. The crap version runs on Nextel (Yeah, Nextel phones can take Boost iden sims, but that's another story we won't touch today). First, you go out and buy a Boost unlimited cdma phone. They only have three Motorola C290/W385/KRZR K1M Find a used one with a CLEAN ESN /Electronic Serial Number on ebay/craigslist. C290s are cheap, but Krzrs are cooler. Call 1-877-TLK-MORE. This is the Boost cdma new customer dept. Sign up for a plan. Their official word is that the Unlimited everything plan is $70 and no roaming. BUT, ask to talk to a supervisor immediately. Ask for the Nationwide $50 Boost Cdma Unlimited EVERYTHING plan. You get talk/text/web AND roaming for $50. Wait a week or so. Call in, 1-877-TLK-MORE (DO NOT USE 611). Say your old phone is toast. You have a new one (the Rumor or whatever as long as it is a SPRINT). Can I put it on. ONLY give the ESN. That's it. If you can't get it on the first time, try again. But since you had an official Boost cdma phone on already, they should let you. The Boost cdma phone is your opening ticket into the cdma gate. Once you're there, you're in.
