How to turn beep on for ATT cordless phone?

When I use 1 one of the phones, and someone turns on one of the other 2, it doesn't beep. Is this an option that I can set? This is a newer ATT cordless phone that I got today.

1. Hopefully you still have your instructions. If not then contact customer service or the retailer you got it from. Good luck.
2. Just in case you return it I highly suggest the new Panasonic. You can buy it with 2 or 3 handsets and more available.
