If i get another att phone, will it work with my current plan?

I have att service, i was wondering if i bought a new phone, even if it was locked, could i put my sim card in the new phone and use it?

1. Yes, thats what you do to switch phones, but I dont know if it will work if the phones locked, but that is how you switch cell phones:]
2. If the device is locked your SIM will not work in it. But yes, your plan will work with any device as long as your SIM works in it
