- The only place to get the code from is either LG or Verizon. If you've already left Verizon, they'll still have your account on file, and they'll be able to put in the request for your code (Unlocking a phone basically consists of the carrier asking the manufacturer for permission to unlock the phone, so as not to violate any exclusivity contracts or FCC regulations). If you got the phone from a friend (and you're already an Alltel customer) either that friend or the person who sold you the phone, needs to contact Verizon to request the code since the account will be under their name. As a longshot, you could just try contacting LG to see if they'll give you the code directly. It's unlikely, since the chocolate is supposed to be exclusive to Verizon.
- usually your unlock code is the last 4 digits of your phone number. But II dont think that you can switch it to Alltel though. It would not let me switch . I have the exact same phone except I have the white chocolate. Beware though. They have water damage easily. Im bawing right now because mine just got water damage :( But your code should be the last 4 digits of your phone number. That happened to me 5 days ago! -Angel
