LG Wireless Phone

how can i get out of ROGERS WIRELESS CONTRACT cancellation fee!?

im fed up with rogers. The phone i got doesn't work, they've given me lots of hassle in the past and expect me to pay full price for a new phone. Then they tell me i have to pay 400$ just to get out of contract. I dont want to stay with them now even if they offer me a free phone. Is there any loop holes to void there contract, so i can get out of it minus the 400$ fee?

  1. My mom used to work for boost mobile. She says that if you call them and bug them enough, they might release you from the contract. She says the keep track of how many times you call them and how long you stay on the phone. Talking to them costs them money. If you cost them more money to keep you than your cancellation fee, they might release you. Not all companies do that though. But as far as i know, thats the only way =D
  2. The functionality of the phone would be a concern of the hardware manufacturer (ie. Motorola, Nokia etc) not the wireless provider, you may wish to take it up with them instead. As far as the cancellation fee, this largely covers the cost of the hardware subsidy given to you to allow the purchase of the phone at considerably less than the regular price, they're not going to just waive the cancellation fee - particularily since you have more than 2 years remaining.
