LG Wireless Phone

Rogers Wireless Phones..?

My dad is buying me a phone for my birthday. It has to be from Rogers because that's the plan he has. I went to the site and compared all the phones, and the best one ended up being the KRZR.. I think.. Can anyone tell me the best phone at Rogers?

  1. I've got a Razr and it is a great phone the new Krzr is similar. You can get the Motorola Phone Tools and turn any mp3 into a ringtone. No need to pay for a ringtone. MPT can be bought or with some searching downloaded. There are a ton of free java games online, and the tools to load them at http://www.motomodders.net. They also have tools to mod your phone and load ringtones. Not to mention a ton of wallpaper pics. My 2 cents hope it helps.
  2. right now the best phone with rogers is the KRZR, I have a Rogers plan too but now I'm starting to regret getting the phone with rogers if I were you buy an unlocked gsm phone. if its gsm and its unlocked it will work with rogers, thats what i've done. anyways this way you can get a really cool phone that noone else in your school has. heres an example of one of the ones i'm saving up for. http://ccc.mobilostore.com/img/G-nokia_7370.jpg my friend has the other version of it called the nokia 7373 and its pink! Once you buy it just take it into any rogers store and ask to set up a plan. its easy. Hope this helps
  3. Hi There :) Motorola typically has the coolest looking phones, but if you're looking for something that's good quality and is not going to break down, buy something other than a Motorola. We have had nothing but returns on the RAZR and KRZR phones due to software issues, reception problems, etcetc - the list goes on and on. Samsung phones test the best for reception, and they have for the past 3 years. If you're looking for the phone that gives you the best for your money, go with a Sony Ericsson W810i. It has a 2MP camera, it comes with a 1GB memory card for MP3's/pictures/videos and Rogers will send you a 4GB memory card for free as long as you get the phone before the end of May. (you have to buy the memory card separately with all the motorolas now) Other than that, you could go with the Samsung D807. Good quality phone. The reception is great, and they use yamaha speakers so the sound quality is excellent. The person above me mentioned buying unlocked phones. That's another option because there are cool phones that you can get from overseas that will work with your Rogers sim card. Be careful though. Those phones have no warranty on them, so if you have a problem, you have to just go and buy a new phone anyway and it'll just be money lost. Also, the settings built into them are specifically for the carrier that it was initially sold with, which means you won't have the full capabilities and access that you would with a Rogers branded phone. Ultimately it's up to you because it's going to be your phone, just thought I'd give you some inside information to help you out. Cheers, and enjoy your new phone. :)
