How to get ring tones on Verizon wireless?

My friend has at&t and he is able to get songs without the lyrics as his ring tone. Can you do that on Verizon Wireless?

2. record yourself meowing and set that as a ringtone. and there you have a quality ringtone without spending money!
3. I don't think so. Ventones will not work with Verizon phones. I think it is best just to buy ringtones directly from Verizon.
