Can a VOIP phone number be transfered to a landline company like SBC/ATT??

I think it's called "number portability"?? I am not fully satisfied with my VOIP phone service so I was thinking of switching back to a land line phone but need to keep my phone number and fax number, is this possible??

  1. Unless LNP (local number portablility) was excluded in your contract with the VOIP company, then yes you can take it with you. I am curious, which company?
