Who is a better Cellphone company att or sprint?

I am thinking about going to att because they have some nice phones that i truly like and i don't get good signal near san bernardino 1 hour away east of los angeles from where i live any suggestions?

1. ATT...I don't live in your area I'm actually in the Northern Area of California 40 min from SFO and my services works well. I've heard bad stories about Sprint.
2. Well I'm sure ATT is better. I have Sprint and their customer service is plain horrible. I swear they put random charges on your bill from time to time because I've got charged for stuff I've never used.
