Which cell phone company has the best rates when roaming international?

Whos the best and cheapest between , Verizon, SprintNextel, T-Mobile, or ATT Mobility when using your phone oversea's I'll be traveling back and fourth between europe and mideast and north africa for the next 3 months which would be best and i dont want to get an new phone over there. I'll be traveling between North America , Europe , Mid east & North Africa for the next 3 months what is the best company to go with I'll be going to Canada, GreenLand, Iceland, Egypt,Tunisia Monaco, Andorra, Algeria Saudia Arabia, Sweden, Finland & Azerbaijan ill be going back to the us about every week or two. Should i get a sim card in one of the countries, or get one in every country

  2. Nextel, you can use the walkie talkie feature at a very low cost, I go to Mexico every year and it doesn't cost a lot unlike other companies..
  3. My Italian friend gets phone cards for international outgoing calls. He says it's WAY cheaper, and that MCI has the cheapest cards.
  4. you don't want to roam, best thing to do is swap out your sim card and get a local pre paid card in. i have done this in europe, asia.
  5. Hello T-Mobile and Cingular are your only real choices. Both work on GSM which is the world standard. Verizon, Sprint are CDMA and Nextel is IDEN which is mainly North America and are VERY limited in roaming outside the US Remember, to roam in Europe and the Middle East your american phone will have to be a GSM quad-band phone GSM850/900/1800/1900 Depending on how long you will be oversea's, your best bet is NOT to use your home carrier to roam in Europe. Get an unlocked quad-band phone and a European Sim like the one below.
