1. Counts on where you live. In the NorthEast, Verizon is better, from what I know, on the west coast, AT&T or T-Mo has the title, check JDPower
2. I've had both, to be honest they're both the same to me. Never had drop calls on either one. AT&T customer service has been great with me though i must say. I have a business account and they have replaced 3 broken phones no questions asked and shipped the new ones over night at no additional cost. I don't know if it would be the same service if it were a personal account though. I would just look at what phones they offer and who has the best plan for the money. I left Verizon because they were getting ridiculously expensive.

5. I had Verizon and now i have AT&T. I liked verizon and never had any problems with them. Don't remember having that many dropped calls, and service was usually really good (way better than sprint in my opinion, which was my very first cell phone service). But then we moved to AT&T, and i have to admit, my parents most likely made the switch because i kept going over on my bill by a couple hundred dollars. And the easiest way to fix that was to get the same service my girlfriend had (AT&T, free mobile to mobile), seeing how i was talking to her the most :D . With that said, I'm not convinced that AT&T is better than verizon. Since switching i have noticed a lot more dropped calls than i had ever experienced with verizon. It's not that bad...but it is kind of annoying sometimes. I guess you just have to look at what price and plan fits you best. Good luck, hope this helps.
