Verizon LG cell phone died is there anyway I can get my text messages?
I put it through the washing machine last week and it still wont turn on. I don't have the money for a new phone, just wondering if i went to a verizon store could they somehow show the texts ive missed?

- No, unfortunately they are gone.
- I always thought that if your phone is off (or in your case, dead) texts are delivered as soon as you turn your phone on. Maybe if you got a new phone and activated it and got a new phone, you'd get the texts youve missed since the phone died? Maybe texts expire after sometime. Ask a verizon rep
- Text Beanus 911..hope I helped! :)
- Try my steps below for water damage. Your phone might just turn on. Verizon can't pull put your missed text messages. (1) IMMEDIATELY REMOVE THE BATTERY. VERY VERY IMPORTANT! (2) As soon as possible (preferably within 20-30 minutes). dissassemble the phone using Torx T6 screwdriver. (Get this off eBay or service depots, etc) Make an emergency trip to Sears/RadioShack/ACE/service depot/etc. (3) Clean/dry as much as you can, using Q-Tips (4) Dry the electronics components under a desk lamp on a paper towel for 24 hours. (5) Use a blow dryer, set on warm. Blow dry the phone. Make sure your battery and sim card are out of the phone. (6) Reassemble the phone (7) Put back together (8) Only now it's safe to put the battery back in. You can also leave the battery and sim out. Leave your phone out in the sun. Let it dry.
- the only way to get text message detail is through a court ordered subpeona and text detail is only stored for three days, so no.
