What is a good cell phone for an older parent?

I need to help my father find a good cell phone. It needs to have good sound quality and be loud! I need a loud ring tone and speaker system so he can hear well on it. Also, my phone has a pedometer on it. I think he would enjoy that feature as he is always walking and playing golf! Any suggestions would be helpful! We are using AT&T. Thanks!

1. I'd say check out the Sony Ericsson W580i. Its a slider and AT&T carries it. Usually the Sony Walkman series phones are LOUD. My buddy had a walkman series phone and man that thing cranked sound. Looks really nice too. And razrs' are loud too I guess
