A car schrunched my LG cell phone with Verizon. Anyway to recover my contacts from pieces?

I know I shouldn't have been running while jaywalking but life happens. I have all the pieces.

1. I would say no. You can TRY to take it in to a Verizon store but I wouldn't get your hopes up.
2. Does your phone have a Sims card? I think that is what it is called. If so, is that still intact? You can retrieve all your contacts that way. Also, some cell phone companies have all your numbers recorded in their files. Check that out also. Good Luck. FYI: With your new phone, this will take some organization, with each new contact added, also add it to an address book at home so in the event of something like this, when you get another new phone, you have all your contacts at hand.
