Is there a way you can stop yourself from calling someone? Verizon cell phone?

I have a Verizon LG cell phone. I also have very little self control. I just broke up with my boyfriend of 2 years and cannot quench the urge to call him. Is there a way I can block him from my phone so that I cannot call him, but he can call me? I know this sounds lame, but please don't give me answers like "well, if you don't hit the 'send' button..."

1. I'm pretty sure you can't block yourself from calling someone on your phone. Just give it to your mom (or whomever you live with) and tell them to only give you your phone when someone calls or if someone calls you. Then, figure out how to get some self control because I don't think that's very healthy.....
2. I once had the same problem as you. All I could do was delete his number, keep my phone off and put it away from my reach for a while. Try to forget his number and delete every phone number trace of him in your phone. Text messages and ALL calls but most importantly just Wean yourself off of him. BELIEVE ME ITS THE ONLY ONLY ONLY WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have tried everything else before. You might be able to can the phone company though and discuss this with them.
