how do i change my anwsering machine on my Verizon LG cell phone?

2. I assume you mean you want to change your message that people hear when they call. In order to change it you will have to deactivate your voicemail and reativate it. In order to do this, you need to press *780, it will call & hang up. Turn off your phone & back on. Wait approximately 5 minutes then press *78. This should reactivate your voice mail. And you should be able set it up like youi did when you got the phone.
