LG Wireless Phone

Can you buy a Verizon cell phone (LG Chocolate) but still use a Cingular plan?

Say if I were to go to a Verizon store that would sell a LG Chocolate. Would I be able to buy that phone then go or call a Cingular store and say that to create or add another account so I could use a Verizon cell phone on a Cingular plan.

1. I don't know if you can but i think use could use another plan if it does work but if it doesn't then i guess you have to use a Verizon plan

3. NO. Verizon and Cingular use two different types of phones. Verizon is CDMA, and Cingular is GSM. Cingular uses a SIM card, Verizon doesn't. You can use the MP3 player on the Chocolate, and use the Cingular phone, but that defeats the purpose you want it for.
