Is there anyway at all to switch verizon service between two verizon phones?
I have the Samsung Alias and was wondering if I purchased like the LG En-v 2 or the Smasung Flipshot, is there any way that I could transfer my service plan between phones. Preferably at home, but if I could take it into the store that could be less convienyent but... First and foremore my question is there anyway to do it at home, like popping the sim cards out of cingular phones. I know verizon phones dont run on those though.

- Yes, there is. Just follow this link: https://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/renew/activatesecuresplash.jsp You do not have to take it to the store. There are no sim cards in Verizon phones - I think only in Cingular and T-Mobile phones. You click activate (either new or replacement equipment) and then enter the serial number of the phone (usually inside in the battery compartment). Then you dial *228 to program the phone and you're all set.
- Yes it is possible online (for free) in the store (for free) or over the phoen ($20) but if you dont go to the store youwont be able to transfer your contacts...also verizon phones retail for alot of money unless you are upgrading or you are starting a new contract....if you do want a new phone i suggest just buying it on ebay and getting it done in the store....i had a huge problem changing the plans at home so the store is def better
- you can try calling customer service, but not from your cell phone. They may be able to switch the ESN for you on your account and you should be able to program it yourself by dialing *228 afterwards. If that doesn't work, then you may need to take it into a store, but they should definately be able to get it working for you
