LG Wireless Phone

I'm getting a new Verizon phone... help me decide which one!?

My 2-year contract is up in a couple weeks and I have over $100 store credit, so I get a free (or cheap) new phone! Tell me all the positives and negatives! Thank you so much! I have an LG phone currently and it's suited me very well, so I'm leaning toward them as a brand, but I like the Samsung phone, so I don't want to rule it out. Also, I don't really like Chocolates... and I know they're Verizon's "big thing" right now, but I find them frustrating.

1. I agree with you about those Chocolates. A lot of people I know have the LG En-V and are very happy with it. A lot of your decision is going to have to be based on what you are looking for and personal preference. Lots of luck!
2. Depends what you want. Personally, when my contract ends in Febuary I'm going to get the GZone phone. It is waterproof, drop-proof, basically idiot-proof. The only fancy feature it has is VZnavigator which allows you to get directions via GPS on your phone. I will also cancel my insurance plan with them, because I figure if I get this phone, it should not break. I currently have an SCH-a950 with mp3 player and speakers on it, but I personally never use it, despite having over 200 songs loaded onto it.
3. Are you happy with Verizon? Ask yourself that question before you agree to use your credit towards a phone because it will likely extend your contract another 2 years. That aside, the VX9400 is NOT a very good phone. I have heard that the VX9400 freezes A LOT. I have heard a lot of complaints about it. I would go for the vx8700 if you want to stick with the LG brand.
4. I currently own the original chocolate phone-it is good for everything but making phone calls...maybe the new redesign will address the quirks that plague that phone.
5. verizon is junk.. i wouldnt waste my time with that crooked outfit even if they offered me free phone and free minutes for life
6. Go to your Verizon store and look at the phones up close, play with them get a feel for them, ask questions about them to the salse people! The Samsung phone is pretty cool, also my sister just got a chocolate and they are very cool why dont you just check them (all phones not just the Chocolates!) out in person and decide from there and I am pretty sure If you are only a few weeks away they will give you your discount now! Usually only a month earlier though!! Or are you going to buy from amazon or Verizon? By the way Verizon is haveing a sale that is ending soon so I would just go to your Verizon store soon!! ~Kyle
7. my family owns a verizon store and they sell all these phones. i like the vx8700 the best cause it look the coolest and not many people have one. its the most expensive one, exept for maybe the samsung, but its a great phone
