Lg Verizon Phone Transferring from computer to Phone?

i have a lg vx9800 (the old en-v) and i have a data cable, memory card, card reader and all. Im really good with computers and i have converters that i can use to get my music and video from my computer to my phone. I used to have an lg vx8100, and when i used to convert videos i had on my computer to 3gpp2 and drag em onto my memory card, put it in my phone, and it worked perfect, same for music. Now whenever i convert a video file or music file to the right type for this phone, it says player error(for music) and video clip not available (for videos) and the pictures from my comp to my phone come up on my phone as exclamation marks,like they cant be found? Can Anyone please give me any hints, or help. I will give a best answer. any help is appreciated. Thanks
