problem with my lg en v phone?
ok. at first my phone was shutting off by itself. i can deal with that. it was annoying, but whatever. but now my phone will not charge. ugh. i no longer have insurance, and my phone is way over 1 year old. is it gonna cost me anything 2 fix it? my sister has the same phone, so i've just been charging my battery in her phone for now. i plan on upgrading, but i would like my phone 2 work so i can give it 2 someone instead of just throwing it away. it's a very nice phone otherwise. oh yeah, and calling verizon (611) from my phone was absolutely no help. they just kept telling me i need 2 upgrade.

- Well calling them is not going to help in this situation because the only thing they are worried about at the time is getting you to upgrade or renew your contract.. And because the phone is so old its warranty is most likely expired which means it is going to cost you to fix the phone.
- The phone can be fixed but this will probable cost more than the phone is actually worth...take the phone to an independent cell phone tech store and let them look into the issue and they will tell you what needs to be done...You most likely would need to buy a new phone now...if you don't want to renew your contract then you can buy a second hand cheap replacement phone online and then activate it on your contract until your eliigble for an upgrade.
