Does anyone know if the Samsung SCH-i730 is wifi?

I'm looking into getting a new phone and want wifi and something from verizon. I was lookin at the samsung sch-i730 and it says it has broadband internet but does anyone know if you have to pay for it monthly because I do not want a monthly plan that includes internet which is why i want a wifi phone. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks
